Battle Creek Water Treatment Facility

The City of Battle Creek hired CTE to design a cost-effective treatment process to reduce iron, manganese and radon in its drinking water.  The 30-mgd, aesthetically pleasing facility complements its park-like setting and an existing pump station by keeping all treatment processes on one floor.  A state-of-the-art SCADA system helps the plant operate 24 hours a day with no increase in staff.
